Role description
The 1820 Junior Administrative Analyst serves as the Tenant-Partner Liaison will be responsible for providing administrative support to advance key goals and strategic objectives of the Southeast Community Center (SECC) Commission and SFPUC. The incumbent is accountable for the fostering tenant relations and performance tracking of all tenants to ensure they meet established goals for maintaining occupancy. They will assist in the program development and implementation related to the opening and ongoing operations of the new Southeast Community Center at 1550 Evans including tenant onboarding and transitions. Tracking, analysis, and reporting on events metrics and how/if SECC programming is meeting the established Levels of Service. This role supports the Deputy Executive Director in maintaining open communication with the community and tenants including staffing onsite and promotional-based events, website management, and acts as a secondary point of contact for the SECC. The Junior Administrative Analyst will be a member of the SFPUC External Affairs Team assigned to the Southeast Community Center team.

Position Working Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Nights and weekends may be required.
Essential Functions:
- Support the Executive Director’s overall vision to ensure the SECC function as a vibrant and thriving community space.
- Liaise with tenant-partners to ensure customer service needs are supported.
- Provide support developing and implementing program model for new center.
- Provide as-needed support to develop and implement communications and community engagement tools to inform the tenants about events and programming at the SECC
- Provide as-needed support to ensure the SECC Commission and committees effectively partner with the SFPUC on key initiatives and promote the interests of the southeast community.
- Assist with outreach and engagement efforts regarding the construction of the new SECC at 1550 Evans Avenue.
- Support the development of a system to schedule and monitor community events at the SECC, especially events occurring in the Alex Pitcher Community Room.
- Support current and future tenants with the transition into 1550 Evans.
- Establish and track key performance indicators for tenant partners.
- Analyze tenant key performance indicators and reform if necessary for the 2022-2023 calendar years.
- Track and report center feedback as it relates to tenant partner programs and services.
- Support the development of processes and policies for booking SECC facilities for community members and local organizations. Provide as-needed support to track and report maintenance requests to SFPUC’s Wastewater Enterprise and ensure requests are coordinated with SECC Commission priorities.
- Support coordination of major SECC community events, including the Health Fair and Jobs Fair, working closely with SECC staff, commission, and community stakeholders.
- Class 1820 Tenant-Partner Program Liaison (Junior Administrative Analyst) performs other related duties as required.
How to qualify
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; AND one (1) year of professional experience in budget analysis, financial analysis and reporting, legislative/policy analysis, or contract/grant administration; OR
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, public or business administration, economics, urban studies, public policy or a related field.
SUBSTITUTION: May substitute up to 2 years of the required education with additional qualifying experience in budget analysis, financial analysis and reporting, legislative/policy analysis, or contract/grant administration. One year (2,000 hours) of additional qualifying experience will be considered equivalent to 30 semester/45 quarter units
One year of full-time employment is equivalent to 2000 hours. (2000 hours of qualifying work experience is based on a 40-hour work week.) Any overtime hours that you work above forty (40) hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full-time employment.
