Role description
Under general supervision, performs difficult bookkeeping and financial record keeping operations within complex accounting systems. Interprets, enforces, and carries out existing policies and procedures relative to financial record keeping activities.
JobsNow Wage Subsidy and Individual Referral program payments:
- Review of submissions by employers and providers in Launchpad system.
- Checking for accuracy and complete documentations.
- Coordinating with program staff and fiscal procurement staff to resolve issues with support documentations and compliance.
- Processing of voucher payments utilizing the F$P automated financial system.
- Tracking of submissions and payments to employers and providers using MS excel.
- Organize and file documents/records according to accepted practice.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provides financial information to departmental staffs, clients and vendors.
Special Payables Backup:
- Expense Report Review and submission in F$P system.
- Process voucher in F$P for other accounting payments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Fiscal supervisors and managers.

How to qualify
Experience:
Eighteen (18) months (equivalent to 3,000 hours) of verifiable experience processing financial and accounting matters (e.g. cost records, deposits, expenditures, allocations), bookkeeping and/or financial record keeping. Such experience typically includes verifying correctness of financial documents; maintaining expenditure records; and reconciling subsidiary accounts.
Substitution of Experience:
15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) of coursework from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) in accounting may be substituted for up to six (6) months of the required experience as described above.
