The Airside Operations Intern will gain an understanding of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 139 and Part 1592 compliance as well as construction planning and logistics. You will also gain firsthand knowledge of the airport's wildlife mitigation program and airport-issued Notice to Airmen or Notice to Air Missions (NOTAMs). In addition, this internship provides an opportunity to learn about how Airside Operations interacts with other airport departments to ensure the safety and security of the traveling public.

Aviation Security:  As an Aviation Security Intern, you will be part of a team and learn about our daily operation, ensuring the Airport's Federal Regulatory Compliance. The Aviation Security Intern will gain hands-on experience with construction projects and planning and conducting an Aviation Security Tabletop Exercise in which multiple agencies participate. In addition, this internship provides an opportunity to participate in planning and hosting multi-agency meetings hosted by Aviation Security.
